Finally an FO Friday! (now with twice the FOs!)

Well, I'm very very excited to announce that I have finished my first Man-Sized Sweater for my man. He really likes it. I'm so glad because if he didn't after all the boring garter and stockinette, I may have cried. We had to toss it in the dryer for a few minutes to shrink it down a bit, since I had a hard time blocking it to size. Please forgive the awful photo, I wanted a picture before he went to work, and it is such a gloomy, rainy day today.

Details:
Pattern: Cobblestone Pullover by Jared Flood, Interweave Knits Fall 2007
Yarn: Cascade 220, color 8012, almost 7 skeins
Started: November 24, 2007
Finished: January 9, 2008

All in all, I really like this sweater, and I'm glad I stuck with it. I didn't totally enjoy the knitting, but I'm glad I knitted it.

Pre-blocking:

The second FO was much, much quicker. A new Pirate Hat for the boy (that matches his coat).

This came out a bit bigger than the last, but he LOVES it. Can't ya tell?

Whoa! Your man looks SMOKIN'! I bet you are SO glad that the sweater knitting is over. Whew! (and thank god!) I think it was well worth it, though : )

And the boy looks so handsome in his new skull hat (that very nicely matches his jacket)...what a good mommy you are!!
